I bought a new 2 TB drive a while ago and downloaded some steam games onto it and then unplugged it and haven't used it for months... I've just plugged it back in and found this file called "jigsaw_ransomware_logo-100655592-large" I googled it and found this page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jigsaw_(ransomware) Could I be in possible danger? ok ill try to make it simple. So the virus is made in a pretty simple programing language which can easly be decrypted and you can see the code behind it, and by that understand how it works so you can prevent it from doing any damage, or undoing any damage that has already been done. But since there's nothing important on the drive, just games, it would just be easier to wipe the drive and redownload the games
