Nah fair enough, it is a lot harder with mouse than people think, especially at 7*+ maps mainly cause if your doing a high bpm and high ar map that involves cross screen jumps, you have to be so fucking accurate. It doesn't help that my mouse that I am currently using cannot move in a straight line compared to my old one, so I might switch to tablet

Tbh I moved to tablet because I just can't be fast enough and because I couldn't pass some 7.5-8* maps in relax lol
I feel way better with a tablet yet (Remember I just play in relax because I have a problem with maps that are under 200BPM and under 5* I just go too fast and ruin everything, something I wasn't doing with mouse but this can be fixed with practise I guess). Honestly if you feel stuck with mouse, go for a tablet. Also if you have ever draw in your life, it helps a lot (not sure but I was drawing and I feel like it took me 1 day to learn using it when I see everyone saying 1-2 weeks)

Pen is great but not better than mouse. Probably easier but players like Angel, Doomsday, MouseEasy or FlyingTuna (before) are amazing with mouse.

Mouse is shit for cross screens and those usually occur in the higher starred maps commonly so I reckon pen is better for higher starred maps atleast

Yeah I can say I have better acc/combo on 8* since I got it. But I would say it's good for jumps. If you try Freedom Dive Arles, not sure tablet change anything and i still feel more confortable with mouse when it comes to streams.

I just need to work on my accuracy and stamina for 200+ bpm streams and I'll practice jumping cross screen another time

I don't like streams so I will keep practise jumps in relax and then start using my left hand. Just to let you know, I currently single tap on my right hand faster than double tap on my left hand. So it is really frustrating to see I was able to stream 190BPM before and now I can barely stream 130BPM. Kinda understable and that's why I just play on relax yet but idc as I find jumps more interesting and impressing because you need skill rather than streams where you have to smash your keyboard and keep it consistant. Not saying you don't need skill, spaced streams are really impressing but basic streams, when you know how to do it, are not that impressing. Unless it is a 220BPM stream map 5min and you FC it I will always find jumps more impressing.

Edit: Death streams maps are kinda cool and are the only one I'm playing but it's so fucking hard. Yomi Yori, Uta or Embraced by the flame are my favourite.

Nah pen is 100% better than mouse for osu, most high ranked mouse players are only still using mouse for the gimmick of being called a high ranked mouse player. Most of the high ranked mouse players end up switching to tablet anyways and if you look at top 100 barely any of them are mouse players. Osu is a game which involves precise and quick mouse movements so any tool that minimises those movements will always give you an edge.
