Rust & Arma are by far the best servers. MilitaryRP & Starwars are decent gamemodes but requires a large team maintaining the server w/updates, event handeling and such. Minecraft is dying. Roblox would likely die out pretty fast unless it's done well. Chute hates Basewars for obvious reasons. Murder didn't work. Another DarkRP server is actually a really dumb idea considering there are Many spots on S1, S2 and S3.

Sorry for the unordered list.

I'd say the best thing is to wait for S&Box (garry's mod 2) to come out. It will include C# scripting and there were hints about it coming out this year.
