TOPIC: Why I'm quitting Zarp

Shame you're leaving, have fun with your future endeavors and whilst I'm here, I just want to make some responses to some the things said on this topic.

First of all,I 100% agree with you, this is honestly ruining the fun and I much rather prefer the gameplay without the Mummy suit before it became a thing. I'm so sick and tired of seeing people just jump out of the floor and instantly killing multiple people right after their death and yes as for the nerf that had happened the other day which was mainly caused by me complaining about it, the nerf just wasn't enough nevertheless but it was a good step forward don't get me wrong. The special weapons are too fucking strong with this suit as well because of its damage multiplier and the fix for this I can really think of is to disallow the multiplier to take effect on special weapons and each life increases by 0.5% extra damage, so for example in the second life you will have 1.5x instead of 2x, the damages on some weapons are just insane (especially the Gluon Gun, it's strong enough regardless of what multiplier and can cause people to lose other suits within an instant which is just plain dumb) and in no way can ANY player counter a mummy suit respawning with 1.5k hp unless they are bombarded by other players gathered around sometimes, a fix for this I can really think of is a respawn cooldown each life. When I owned the Mummy Suit, it was just terrible to play around with and felt like you had nothing to lose which is what I dislike, risking yourself in situations is what makes the server fun because you feel accomplished if you succeed in a risky situation or if you fail, you have to spend the efforts of trying to get that item/suit again which keeps the grind going (This is why I sold my Mummy Suit as well as to how overpriced someone bought it for hurdurhur:^)). There needs to be some sort of risk in losing the suit, not sure what idea I have for this though, to be honest.

If you ever do feel like a specific staff member is half assed to do their job or is not doing their job correctly then please do inform a LT member about this, we always investigate these issues every single day and if a user helps us out it really does save us a lot of time since that we are informed of who isn't bothered to help the server out.

One last thing I would like to let you guys know is I do have a lot of ideas as to how we can fix a lot of the current issues for newer players mainly as the long-term players are always receiving some new and some really cool things in updates, I'll talk about these to Chute once we have finished our current projects and issues we have been addressing, it's been a very busy month for the CM team as updates have finally returned to SSRP so just be paitent while we progress.

Sorry for the big rant and going slightly off-topic Tyler, just really wanted to say some things I had kept in mind.

Being a lead team member I have a slightly better insight into the staff team than the majority of the ssrp player base and the statement you made I can both disagree and agree with.

I don't really think the staff team is any worse or better than it was back in 2015 since even back then people (such as myself) didn't do f1s and staff duties, I can see why you feel this way though but to be fair from what I had seen you were primarily an S3 player.
