over the past two years my class and I have held fundraising events and donated money to different orphanages. we've also hosted events for the kids such as plays and game booths. on a personal level I've been volunteering for over a year in an NGO for blind youth. truly heartwarming seeing them smile due to your contribution. I don't bother donating to these big charities cause its all a big scam imo Instead I go around and help homeless people around. Given out around £250 to homeless people along with buying them food/drink/umbrellas and cigarettes.
