zarp players =/= serious anything

Depends on how serious it would be because honestly I have no ideas what your idea is.
For me serious roleplay is the kind of shit where you REALLY do roleplay. As in if you take the job of a cop you don't just run around trying to simply arrest criminals. But you do patrols around the map while respecting the speed limits / stops / lights and when you see someone doing something criminal you pull them over, bring them in your car and drive them back to the headquarters, interogate them then proceed to lock them up and stuff like that.

A server where you really do incarnate a charachter and therefore you are very limited in what actions you can perform depending on your role.

But I don't think there's many people in the zarp community mature enough for that kind of stuff let alone interested in it.

Well not specifically PERP, but that's the type of thing we're going for. We'd definitely have a lack of competition and we'd definitely be covering relatively untouched ground currently.

I feel like most of the people on the server would probably just piss about, so the rules would have to be forced harshly, but i'm interested in to see where it could go, but one problem is being able to find suitable people for a police department like trusted people of the community or someone who knows what they're doing otherwise we're going to have a broken police force that isn't being commanded properly, there should be a white list for the police force for sure though as you'll have people getting into the pd just to mass rdm so if there is a longer process it'll decrease the rdm rate as I doubt someone is willing to go through many stages that can take up to days just to mass rdm for 3 seconds. You'd also have to balance out all the weapons, drug system and make sure there is enough illegal and legal ways to make money and make sure there are goals that people need to get to otherwise people will get bored, some examples from perp is cars, a big inventory with guns and bombs, getting into powerful orgs, becoming a high rank in the PD. Not everything should be taken to seriously though or people may lose interest quickly as there still needs to be fun involved.
