Most people are searching for happiness. They’re looking for it. They’re trying to find it in someone or something outside of themselves. That’s a fundamental mistake. Happiness is something that you are, and it comes from the way you think.

I've owned both razer and cloud hyperx headsets, both in terms of sound quality and mic were dog shit compared to logitech. Once I switched to a logitech headset with logitech driver's 7.1 surround I couldn't stand to use any other headset. Currently I have the logitech g35 which is discontinued but the one I'll post is equally as good. If you want the best headset for the budget for sound quality with a decent mic nothing beats logitech.

Also, if you do go with a logitech headset (which you should) make sure to download the logitech gaming software and find a good advanced equalizer setting to make the sound even better or just use mine.

Woah thanks this means a lot

If you want any videos of how the mic sounds just watch any Tyler1 video or stream. That's the headset he's used forever. The sound for the headset is all in the logitech drivers. In terms of 7.1 virtual surround sound to me nothing beats logitech in that aspect, better than razer's.

I can't tell if you're taking the piss.

Logitech headsets are literally known to break, and I know from first hand experience.

I'd recommend you try with the Kraken 7.1 V2, I got them around 6 months ago, and was definitely not disappointed, especially as an upgrade to my old Razer Kraken USB, which I broke the cable and one headphone of (don't question it, I am good at breaking things). Excellent microphone and sound quality, and very durable.

I've had the same g35 headset for 2 years hasn't broken yet and I've tossed it a good few times. Just don't mistreat them and they're good and if they do break or crack it's nothing gorilla glue won't fix. Not to mention getting it replaced by logitech support is pretty easy.

I would highly recommend HyperX Cloud 2, I use it and it is amazing, I love it. I have manage to break it a little bit, so it is hard to listen on phone(I need to hold the cable up or down because the headphone jack is broken because I am an idiot and I have destroyed many headsets over my time), and other than that I love it.

I've used HyperX 2 and Razer 7.1 V2, both work very well for their prices. HyperX mic's quality is a bit questionable though. Right now I use the Audio Technica ATH-ADG1X and they're amazing.

You can't deny the whole company for owning 1 headset that you may dislike for any reason.

However, I used the razer usb for 2 years and they were great for their price so...
Wire coils and it doesn't stay in half the time get one and see then lmfao

Buy a decent pair of headphones (Something like the Sennheiser HD 598SR's) and a separate desktop microphone (Blue Snowball etc...)... Will all add up to about the price of a medium - high end gaming headset and will sound so much better.
