TOPIC: Toughest Gaming Challenge? (Prizes)

Hey, dudes.

It's been a while since I've done one of these, so we'll keep it simple this time and just do a small RNG thing.

Throughout gaming history, there have been quite a few notable moments where players have really struggled against certain challenges. Be they online or offline.
I want you to tell me your most difficult gaming challenge; be it a specific boss in a game, a particular quest that seemed to have no end! Or even just a raid on here that was probably the hardest thing you had to endure.

BONUS: You get two raffle entries if you can tell me why it was the most difficult challenge in more than a sentence. (This is just to deter people from saying: "Ele base raid because it was hard".

Speedrunning GTAV (campaign only) by respecting the traffic laws

That pidgey in pokémon red on route one was very hard! It was really hard because I only had a charmander and I was scared! The pidgey's only move was sand attack so.I couldn't hit shot and ended up killing myself, I am truly mentally scarred!

Defeating Karstaag in Legendary difficulty (Skyrim) without any cheats / exploited gear.

Karstaag is a powerful foe and can prove to be quite a challenge, making him one of the hardest bosses in the game. He attacks much like a regular Frost Giant, using his club, fists and stomp attack, however these inflict much greater damage. His stomp attack is so strong that it can throw the Dragonborn across the room, much like an Unrelenting Force shout.

He also has a permanent frost cloak with a large radius that inflicts frost damage, the severity of which is dependent upon game difficulty. Occasionally during Karstaag's stomp attack, a blizzard will begin to swirl in the courtyard, inflicting additional damage to health and stamina over time, which itself can be fatal. Because of this, some form of frost or magic resistance is useful, especially as stamina can be depleted within seconds.

Karstaag is completely immune to frost damage, poison and paralysis, however he does have a slight weakness to fire damage. Once he begins to take damage, he summons three Ice Wraiths to aid him in battle, if given the chance. He also regenerates health very quickly. During the entire battle the ground will shake violently, much like when staggered.

Defeating deathwing when I was around 8? Back in cataclysm of wow. That shit was so fun but was genuinely quite hard as I had no experience what so ever of raiding or anything due to my age back then, the satisfaction of killing it was unimaginable but that still was one of the harder parts of my gaming experience.

Dark Souls 3 New game 34 i had problems with darkeater midir.......... as always this boss was the hardest struggle every new game i had just because he is op and his attacks destroy you

I actually have a few, GTA SA Supply lines, Touhou Project extra stages, the whole Shadow of the Colossus game because I was pretty young and didn't know what I had to do and Black Desert's TET roulette :')

Challenge: Trying to cheat on ZARP| It’s difficult because anti cheat Tyler is around

Challenge: Playing tic tac tie with Kalll | It’s hard because he always fucking wins FFS!

Lucio's "the floor is lava" achievement is pretty hard to complete in Overwatch because you have to kill half the enemy team whilst gliding against a wall, like what the fuck. Half of their team literally has to be on low hp and conveniently positioned against a long wall.

The final mission on The Simpsons: Hit and Run was always difficult too. Anyone who's ever played the mission knows the difficulty of it. You have to collect an object and deliver it to the other side of the map in less than 2 minutes without hitting any objects. You are also chased down at one point I believe which makes it even harder.

The biggest challenge is doing PizzaPizzaYaSan.

Finishing dark souls 3 in the hardest difficulty using bananas as a controller without dying once because YOU DIED.

I play a lot of fallout so for each game I’ll go over one

FO3: Death Claw sanctuary, I stumbled upon it really early into the game so that was a pain to clear

FONV: Any encounter with Cazadors, the death claw promontory with its 36 deathclaws, or Quarry Junctions since it’s so close to where you start.

FO4: Not a lot of super hard stuff but their is a behemoth that spawns up north close to sanctuary that I stumbled upon when I started so I had to take that down with a dog and a 10mm pistol. Other than that the magician dude in nuka world was kinda, Kellogg was difficult, and the choice to save or kill Danse and your son weren’t challenging in the traditional way but in an emotional way.
