Developing and releasing fully custom from scratch updates to a server with no exploits or bugs is something that is not only extremely tedious but also something that requires a decent amount of coding knowledge to do.

Now I know I definitely wouldn't do anything on that scale for free and I don't know anyone that would so really and truly the only people being relied on to release updates should be them.
