That is not for you to decide though. I'm not saying it's not a respectable thing to do, but that's for you to discuss with the server owners before just randomly saying "This is how it's going to go and that's that".

I haven't single handily decided this the CM team agrees, it is the fairest thing to do in this situation, especially if the server is rapidly replaced. The murder server has very competent lead team members who should and will be offered a position on a new server. Current staff should be, but that cannot be assured.

I still believe that should be discussed with the respective server owners. Because don't get me wrong, I agree with you, but it should still be discussed with the respective server owners before such a decision is publically shared. Else you get situations like this, where the server owners are like "Uhm, no" and the CM team is like "Uhm, yes".

Staff members will be assured their position, and I'm sure the new server owners will be more than willing to take on a small number of dedicated lead team members. For example Wolfi would loose TS staff and Forum staff if he isn't offered a new position, it wold be a dick move to take there ranks off them instantly. I'm sure Raeker if you got CM you would have no objections with this anyway.

This is one of the strange situations however I agree with the decision in the example. That is kinda unfair, however see it from the server owners perspective where just getting being told that you will have x,y,z on your staff team and them not even knowing the rules to your knowledge :/

Well nobody from the initial staff will know the rules anyway, we all will have plenty of time to get to know them though.

He actually wouldn't lose forum staff, but yes, it would be sad for people like Wolfi, and they should definetily be offered to get their ranks, and if they don't want it, then that is their choice to make

But they applied for murder, and if it closes, sorry mate but your rank is gone,, if you was a manager at KFC and the store closed, you don't instantly go be a manager in a different KFC, you submit an application like everyone else

We are on a gaming community, not KFC

Finding good lead team members is hard and if there are some as dedicated and skillful as Wolfi, BDnico17 and me not letting us keep our ranks would be a shame

If it is a Jailbreak server, rules should be 90% the same as Murder, it's just dealt with differently as Jailbreak is a different game mode

You all are convinced it will be Jailbreak but don't consider the chance of other and perhaps better game modes like TTT S2, Mil RP or base wars

He actually wouldn't lose forum staff, but yes, it would be sad for people like Wolfi, and they should definetily be offered to get their ranks, and if they don't want it, then that is their choice to make
