Oh no, the issue is we can't even meet the deadline for the first week. We both have too much shit going on. I fully intended on running, but the application is due the 12th, am I wrong? I'm working most of the week, then have his graduation to go to. This is his finals week, lol. Tbh we both intended on it, we just literally don't have the time to get things on the deadline.

Not to be a dick but making an application shouldn't take more than a day or two. If you don't think you're fit for the position, just say it. There is no shame being honest.
