Ye. I tried that but it didn't work for me so I had to get a hard drive.
Basically my computer is getting everything removed and reverted back to the way it was when I purchased it and according to the person who is doing this for me said, it’ll take about 2 or more days

If it was a hardware issue I would of fixed it myself sadly it is to do with the software and there is not a lot I can do when the pc doesn’t even turn on.
Does it try and boot at all? Can you get into safe mode? support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/w...your-pc-in-safe-mode

Well I did it by disabling the the actual service (along with some others) in 'services', even set my connection to metered and I still get the popups but the updates never download.

Basically what happens is when I press my power button to turn on my pc, the normal loading screen for when my pc is turning on pops up, and then my screen goes black and I can’t load in safe mode. After the screen goes black my pc just turns itself off and back on repeating but only showing the loading screen from when you first turn on your pc.
