What's up with those new accounts that come here to make a post about some random shady health product. This is happening to alot of forums.

They are IP grabbers, it's not the first time they appear most of the times a section moderator removes their posts and a global mod bans the account.

I'm not 100% sure what it does but it's definitely done something to your PC. Just wait patiently for the forum staff team to delete the post and completely ignore them otherwise.

My belief is that they are not IP loggers. Simply because of the fact that why would someone go through the effort just to ddos some 10 - 15 year old kids.
IP logging could,can and is being done (Not talking about on here cause they look out for that kind of sutff.) without you even clicking on a link.
Cryptocurrency mining is a way more realistic thought since there are already javascripts that mine for the owners while you have a page open without you even realizing. (90% Of the case unless you have a blocker or a good antivirus.)
