You had one recent punishment which, although not that many, did show some slight immaturity from you. Spamming the chat to the point that it hurts people's gameplay is not something we want to see from staff.

However, although that was the only real negative, that doesn't mean that you're a "mistake". The opposite, even - there's so little wrong with you that it isn't at all difficult to improve on it. Heck, I'd say that if you don't get punished this week and you get semi-decent activity that you'd be accepted for mod next week, so leaving is an absolutely horrible choice for you.

Seriously dude, you should stay. There's no reason for you to leave when you are so close to getting staff.

I don't know if you count me among those people but I don't. Just because we don't interact a lot doesn't mean I'm avoiding you because I hate you if that might be one of the reasons. I do think a good majority of the staff vote fairly so as the others said, you just have some aspects to improve but only by a little. Work on that instead of quitting whenever you're faced with an obstacle, it will get you farther in life.

Just saying leaving after you get denied because people think your immature just shows how immature you are. You need to improve on your negatives rather then just quit. This is not a good attitude to have if you want to be a staff member...
