What you're missing is that the policy can and might change, sure now it's good but in 20 years time it might not be.

Fair enough if you didnt enjoy it but still if you didn't get a well paid job as a result from it you wouldn't have to pay it back.

On top of that you only start to pay it after you earn 20k+ salary so it's pretty simple to manage in comparison to other countries.

Sada they have a point going into an apprenticeship isn't really ideal if you have no clue what you want to do.

you just need to sit down and have a long think about vaguely what you want to go into

Once you have a vague idea then you go into the course after like 2 - 3rd year youll most likely be specialising in the most ideal thing for youuu.

Apprentiship USP: Earn while you learn, 'invaluable work experience puts you way ahead of uni students!'
Reality: Placement year with uni course, most cases paid + that goooood invaluable work experience + very nice degreeeeee (if you picked a worthwile degree should be well on your way to paying that offff gizaaaa)
