As many of you may know I go by the name of ParaMontana within this community.

How I Found ZARP:
When I first bought Garry's Mod I played single player for a good few weeks and got bored with it. After that I quit Garry's Mod for a good 10 years, I was reintroduced to Garry's Mod by DeathRazor213 around early May 2015.
He told me he played at this community called ZARP, back then I did not even know what ZARP was and thought it was some game mode he played. He got me into playing for a few days and I got hooked on it. ZARP is the very first Garry's Mod community I ever joined and still am part of today.
Some Of My Plans For 2017:
Creating a safer and closer environment for every body
As a Community Manager I will do my best to try not only unite SSRP but unite all the servers by allowing Events to be hosted over the teamspeak. One of these Events could be the famous karaoke night made by Joshua and hazzenator.
The reason why I want this to happen more often is because of the amazing results we had on both the karaoke event and the Christmas event that were hosted on teamspeak.
Zombie Survival Game Mode
As many of you know I often talk about Zombie Survival and its potential. And I wish to make this not just a dream or a wish but a reality in 2017. I will do my best to find willing coders to help me make this come reality.
More Features For VIP
My aim for 2017 is to come up with fresh and new ideas for the VIP system
This includes: Adding new features on all Garry's Mod game modes
This could vary from skins, trails, weapons, Classes, Playermodels.
Pointshop
Over the entire year of 2016, a lot of good pointshop suggestions have been posted on the forums
I am aiming to host pointshop meetings every 3 months for new implementations and additions to all pointshop servers.
How My New Powers Will Benefit The Community:
With the new tools I will be able to add minor fixes to addons on servers such as Deathrun and Surf. TTT and Bhop are in good hands of the current Owners and do not require help but still up till this day Deathrun is in need of a lot of help to get their pointshop updated and the knife addon properly fixed. I would be able to look into these issues and fix them where needed. Also I would use the log system that I will have access to to be able to handle multiple situations on SSRP. Which would consistent of the following: Finding exploiters and figure out what they did and how, will be able to handle refund requests by having access to the logs and access to refunding items by itself, Will be able to catch ban evaders more efficiently with the tools given to me.
The Democratic System:
One of the reasons I love ZARP is the Democratic system we use at ZARP.
It allows everybody to state their opinion during meetings and feel like they are part of a team
The Democratic system allows Staff members to be involved into the most important decisions we make at ZARP. That is getting new staff.
Many other communities only allow the highest members of staff to decide whether someone gets staff or not. This causes unfair favouritism. At ZARP we allow Mods to vote upon other mod applications and Admins to vote upon Admin applications.
Everybody is equal in the meetings. Head Admins, Super Admins, Admins and Moderators all have the same voting right and their votes weigh the same. Our Democratic system during the meetings is paired together with a NDA this allows everybody to feel at ease during their vote and know that no one outside of the meeting will know anything about their vote. We use a strawpoll system during the ZARP meetings to allow people to stay anonymous about their vote.
My Skills:
Communication
In my daily routine I often have to communicate with a lot of people I master all forms of communication. including one-on-one, departmental, and full-staff conversations.
Motivation
I often inspire Admins and Moderators to go the extra mile for ZARP,
New Moderators often struggle with their new given powers and most of the time do not believe in themselves. I help them build self-esteem through recognition and rewards, or by giving Moderators and Admins new responsibilities to increase their investment in ZARP. This is either doing something for me or helping me in a situation I am working on, I like involving more than just the lead team when I work. I believe that motivators work best for the staff team to encourage productivity and passion.
Delegating
When I am working on a situation I wish to give staff members a chance to show to me that they are ready for potential growth within the staff team. I identify the skills of each staff member I select to help me with the current situation, and assign duties to each staff member based on their skill set, by delegating tasks to staff members you can focus on other important tasks.
Feedback
I constantly look for opportunities to deliver useful information to my staff members about their performance. By helping staff members on how to improve their work and make their own decisions.
Responsibility
I am responsible for both the successes and failures of cases or situations I solve with fellow staff members. Therefore, I am willing to accept blame when something does not go correctly.
Hosting
I am well experienced in hosting meetings, I have hosted dozens of meetings during my time as lead team. I am always available to pick up as a host. Whether that is before or during a meeting I am always able to take over without getting nervous or losing track of what is going on.
I have hosted meetings for
SSRP, Surf, Minigame, and helped co-hosting Deathrun meetings.
My Traits:
Vision
I have a clear exciting idea of where I am going and what I'm trying to accomplish. I am good at strategic planning as I have proven to the community in the past.
Courage
I am willing to take risks to get to the point where I want to be and what I want to achieve and accomplish. Even when there is no assurance or guarantee of success.
You can’t move forward if you keep looking behind you.
I am not afraid of grabbing the bull by its horns.
Integrity
After the mistake I made during my earlier days in ZARP, I noticed that lying gets you nowhere
But it only pushes you back into a corner, It makes you feel horrible when you lie. Ever since that happened I started working on being honest with everybody. I have found out that honesty and transparency is the way to go within this community. I find this one of the most important qualities a person can have because with honesty you can build a strong bond with everybody within the community.
Humility
I am not afraid to admit that I have the self-confidence and awareness to recognize and value of others without feeling threatened.
Why I Should Be Chosen:
During my time as a whole I have had to work my way around many obstacles.
Some obstacles could have taken years and only can be passed by life experience. I think age is an important factor at becoming a Community manager, the experience I have built up in my years as a whole have given me the right skill set to approach the more difficult situations that might approach you on a daily basis and gives me the courage to go further where others may stop and back down. This helps me to get a better understanding of current and future situations and helps me empathize with other users of our community.
Just because I am currently a Head Admin on every server does not mean I do not understand the struggles that most users have in this community. I was a user myself once, I understand that things do not always go the right way or the way you expected it to go. I understand that the situations often work more against you then in your own favour and without you being able to do anything about it.
There were times that I had to talk to a user for hours to convince the user not to leave the community, I believe it’s my duty to create a safe and happy environment around the users and staff of this community. To make their experience as positive as possible.
During my time as staff I have caught many rule breakers and had to deal with countless situations. I have protected users and staff that were afraid to stand up for themselves and help them to fit better within our community.
I fight for every body that needs help and asks for help because I believe that everybody can change I have seen it many times over the last year and a half and in life itself that people can change.
That is why my motto is: Let’s make this community a better place than it already is.
