Sorry for semi-necroing this post but it's helpful nonetheless. I just can't launch gmod on my 2nd account as it closes instantly and I get prompted with the same steam update every time, and it's not working no matter how many tutorials I followed. Thanks if anyone can help!

i can log on to a second steam account but when i open gmod on second account it just closes itselfs

To anyone you have to own gmod on your alt and family sharing wont work. Anyone know how to run more than two accounts at once without buying pro. Sandboxing the sandbox wont work
