I am making this post because I am getting really sick of seeing this.
So, here is a guide on how to report rule breakers on SSRP. There are two different ways to report rule breakers: In-Game and On the Forums. IN-GAME If you see a person breaking rules, either: -Tell a staff member who is nearby to you (if they aren't already doing something or AFK) OR -Make an F1. To make one, press-you guessed it-F1. You will then be able to make a report. In the box that appears, write down what you saw the rulebreaker do. For example, if you saw or was the victim of someone doing RDM, press F1 and in the box, type RDM. DO NOT go screaming in chat "RDM" or "ADMIN TO ME" or something like that. It's just considered as spam, and 9 times out of 10, a staff member will not respond to you. In some cases, such as propblock or propclimb, you are going to need to provide evidence that this person actually did this rulebreak. When someone commits RDM or NLR, the staff can use kill logs to see who was killed and with what weapon. You will need to post something like a screenshot or a video to the admin, clearly showing that this person propsurfed or propclimbed or what rule they broke. If you can't prove that the person broke the rule, then the staff cant punish the person for what they did, because they can't prove it actually happened. In an F1, the staff are instructed to be as polite and helpful as possible. You should too. Be polite to them, they are taking time out of their lives to help you out. Don't get angry at them, and don't go swearing or being rude to them, because you can always be warned for Disrespect. ON THE FORUMS You can sometimes make an appeal for a rulebreaker to be warned to banned on the Forums, under the Report Abuse section. DO NOT make a ban/warn appeal under the Appeals section, this will be under the wrong section, and this section is for different posts. When you make a ban/warn appeal, like with propsurf/propclimb, you will need to provide evidence, such as a scrrenshot or video, to prove that this rulebreak actually occured, otherwise your appeal will get denied easily. Like what you would do on an F1, again, these staff members are trying to help you, so don't go making posts trying to insult or be rude to someone. Closing note I have seen posts saying "Why do you guys expect us to record 24/7?" I can see why you would say this. It's easy to only see the rulebreak for a split second, but like I said before, the staff team cannot punish the rulebreaker if they cannot prove that the rulebreak actually occured. You could easily be saying that someone broke RDM, just becuase you don't like the person. The staff team can't just take your word for it. They need evidence that the rulebreak actually happened. I hope this post can give people a better understanding of reporting rulebreaks. |

Could've worked a bit on detailing it, and going a bit more in depth on certain aspects
