I don’t care if you’re unbanned, banned, or even CM banned if you see this post.

I’m gonna be making a video on some items on the server that have been released throughout the years and I’m trying to collect a wide range of opinion. yeah not gonna lie i still don’t get the point behind this, you’re doing nothing but combatting a persistent issue which is shitty balancing, shitty economy, shitty odds, it goes on and on which will ultimately never be in a state where it is playable for all unless i spend a gazillion or run up 50 alts money printing.

i also refuse purely because of the history of having my opinions absolutely scapegoated for nostalgia tripping and wanting old school gameplay and fresh economies in place, why should i bother? there’s no incentive here for me big dawg

It was something I came up with while keeping the community in mind and just wanting to hear what people think, I get that you can feel discarded, but I certainly am interested in anything you have to say regarding zarp, it wouldn’t be good if I wasn’t!

Hello everyone, thanks to the few that have DM'd me so far. I'm interested in hearing peoples opinions on skill expression within the server. If you don't know what that means, in basic terms, the player being rewarded for genuinely being mechanically better. For example, the AK-47 in CS2 is OP on paper, a 1 shot head shot at most distances sounds broken, but you have to have the mechanical skill to at the very least aim for the head, as well as other things related to game sense. Therefore rewarding the player for being better. An example of an item on ZARP that does NOT have any skill expression to it is the Knight Demon for example, you press a button through a wall and then the enemy has a chance to lose the fight. The user demonstrates no skill, it's not needed to be effective.

So this begs the question:
Should unskilled players be rewarded in ZARP PvP?

Is it fair that items exist that remove skill from the equation, and if so which ones are you all not a big fan of? This is what I'm wondering. The question itself is pretty open-ended, but if you want a static set of questions to follow, here are a few I came up with.

On the server, what are the top three items that you feel take the least amount of skill to use?

Do you feel throughout the past three years that zarp has been more rewarding towards people with a greater skill level?

Are you a fan of items that get added they don’t require a large amount of skill to use for example the QED, the demon, The Grim Reaper, the ice minion, etc?
