TOPIC: What can you do with gems?

I have around 280k gems and have no idea how I even got them. What's an easy way (or any way for that matter) to earn gems?

Ok but no joke. What are some good ways to earn gems? Do daily missions give you some?

Sell

You can use them to craft things in the Crafting tab, use them during special events or sell them.

Sorry but I'm asking how you can EARN gems, not how to use them. Sorry for any misconseption.
