TOPIC: New update

I don't know about you guys but i want a fukin re do of this. This update was one of the worst I've seen.
Also bring back the damn christmas wheel nobody gives a fuck about coins
Firstly, the new map has made the server run at half the FPS, it’s hard to get out of spawn when I’m not being rdmed
Second, the new items are bland and boring, they add nothing and the suit is literally useless.
The coin system is frustrating, at least with the wheel you could actually GET a prize. Not to mention the wheel was more engaging and fun than the loud ass coins and the exchange. At least with the damn wheel I had fun getting scammed
The advent calendar is complete ass, one day it literally just gave me a defib, are you serious? The owner knows the game he made has a fucked up economy, but yet he makes the rewards for EVENTS worse and worse instead of matching everything else, making it bland and useless.
Finally the casino fucked the juggs, literally halving their price and a bunch of other items now too.

The event was not only bland and boring, but fucked the economy. When faced with inflation you don’t LOWER prices, you increase them. This is basic economics but I’m starting to question if the developers know less about economics than a freshman in high school

I know this sounds hostile, but I’m passionate about zarp and this just isn’t on par with any other update I’ve been here for

Mind sharing what's wrong? A lot of work was put into this update by the Community Team and calling it awful doesn't help us much...

Hi Nerdyganii,
We constantly monitor the economy and have daily reports on how the economy is operating and we can tell you it's in very good shape. We control the input and output of all items and we make decisions on values of new items with a data driven approach and this has worked for us very well. No other Garry's Mod server has been operating a functioning economy without resetting it or constantly modifying it for over 6 years as we have been on ZARP.

There’s two ways that they could fix it in theory. One being just make the items rarer and more expensive so that the items which make zarp unique aren’t accessible to the new, or they could make the items more common, cheaper and more accessible for the starting players. As you seem to know ‘basic economics’ you clearly haven’t analysed the issue in its entirety yet.
