The n-word shouldn't be allowed anywhere except in private groups, for example gang chats or private messages, same can be said for anything that's seen as discriminatory.

The gap between harassing and targeting races and just saying the word in a completely different context is so big that it is insane to me it's punishable regardless of the context, I almost got in trouble a few weeks back for saying to an admin "This guy called me a *censored word*" the word in question was the n-word, hard R and was used to try and disrespect me.

Targeted harassment and racism should be bannable, not a joke between two friends.

The main idea of Zarp which I love is to create a friendly gaming environment for everyone no matter where you live, or what background you came from. Everyone is welcome here. The hatefull behaver that you want to be allowed would destroy this. Maybe try use words that have nothing to do with treating certain sexuality/race differently or as a lower standerd. I know it's not the easiest time to time, I sometimes fall under the homophobic train when I accidently say things I regret but you can always try to be a better person. I don't see a single way it would benefit the server if that behaver would be allowed.

All seriousness, I appreciate the points people make about the racism thing, but it's a fuckin' boiling pot filled with rage and a lot of frustration. Put simply; this isn't something that should be an issue on our servers. But it is also the internet. Anonymity breeds faux courage. And out of faux courage rises multiple controversial issues because people love to stir the pot.
