TOPIC: [SSRP] Ban Appeal - Jenga (Azjenga=/= Azgeda)

In the intrest of keeping this unbiased I would like any Azgeda members to not handle this appeal.

Name - Jenga
STEAM-ID - STEAM_0:1:84314633
Admins name -Wizard
Reason - (2.1 Gang name like Azgeda and unwilling to change it unban when willing).
Server - SSRP
Time - Permanent
Story - I was getting threats from multiple different staff members to change my gang name (Azjenga) as it was "similar" to (Azgeda).
The staff members in question gave me little to no reasoning for the name breaking 2.1:

Gang names must be unique and visibly different to those of other gangs.
Unique- My name infront of "az" is unique, just the same as my RP name is unique.
Visably different- For anyone who is above the age of 3 can see that there is quite a visable difference between Azjenga and Azgeda.

I proceeded to ask wizard to ask a lead team member, As I quite frankly did not want to listen to the same shit he kept on saying, I was left frozen for around 10 mins while I assumed he was asking a higher-up.



He didn't... and instead kept saying that "staff word is final" so I have to do whatever he says.

Azgenda and Azjenga is nowhere close, the only part that is close is Az, however genda and jenga is completely different, Jenga is a freaking name lol. If the 2 first letters matter, then everyone who has Bo infront of their name is copying born in blood?

This ban was perfectly valid. You refused to change your gang name because it was too close to azgeda so the only way wizard could see to get you to change it was by making sure that if you want unbanning, you change it

What a pathetic reason to perma ban someone

This is just stupid to be honest.

As you said multiple staff members were telling you to change your gang name as it was too similar to the gang name "Azgeda", when staff told you to do this you proceeded not to co-operate as you had clearly had no intention to change it, you were then jailed for 10 minutes which staff told you that you had the remainder of the jail to do so.

Regarding your ban you had enough recent punishments on your rap-sheet to be banned for a short time as can be seen here;

Gang is full of children who can barely count on their fingers

The ban was removed, apologies for it being placed. I have been given permission by a HeadAdmin to remove it for it being false as the admin fails to understand how it is false. It will also be removed from your rapsheet. I will be speaking with Wizard when he's back tomorrow because he said he had to leave and explaining why the ban is invalid.
