It's alright as you're new to blender but you need to decide on if you're trying to pull of a realistic look. Start looking at the materials, Lighting and a shit load of tutorials to improve the final product.

Second thoughts, they're exactly the same as the video as guessed.

I occasionally look at tutorials. Will work on lighting and materials. Thanks for the tips :)

The ideas were taken from the videos, yes. But trust me even with the video it's a pain in the ass to do some of it. Especially the rendering process.
