TOPIC: Minecraft Server Poll!

The Vote
We're happy to announce the next big change to the Minecraft Server! We'll be voting between the four 'game-modes' so to speak on the poll: Hunger Games, a Feed The Beast server, Vanilla Survival, or Skyblock! It's up to the community's decision on the poll which will be the deciding factor in where we take the Minecraft server next. Unfortunately, the Tekkit Server has brought many complications to the server which is a leading reason in why we're making this.

Below, the four current servers will be given a brief description to give you, the community, a better understanding before you vote.

Hunger Games



Inspired by the jaw dropping movie 'The Hunger Games', this is a Free For All in a race to see who is the last standing. Items will be around the map for players to salvage and use to defeat other players, found in chests. It's intense, fast paced, and very competitive.

Skyblock



Skyblock, is a solo or multiplayer survival where at the beginning you spawn on a dirt platform. It's challenging and grindy, you'll only start out with a single tree and chest with some needed items to play the game.

Survival



Classical Minecraft, with a server style approach with custom plug-in's. This is a Vanilla Server, where all players will have the classic, nostalgic experience they did when they first picked up the game.

Feed The Beast



The Feed The Beast Modpack offers a variety of different play-styles. Each Mod-Pack with over a hundred custom mod's made to offer a different, fresh, and fun experience each time. Fight Bosses, having the factory of your dreams, be a magical warlock. The experience and variety brought by this modpack is endless, and always ever-changing fun.

Damn forgot we had a minecraft server i havent played minecraft in a year or 2 so based on when i played it hunger games not everyone likes ftb

I think if you are going to have hunger games etc do it right make it a bungee server with vanilla hg skyblock not as much people will join if it's just 1 server

can you not put like minigames like skywars and hungergames in pls like the reason you are dead is because your using modpacks like Tekkit and FTB if FTB wins you will have people play it for like a week max then they will go back to SSRP or DR or 1v1

I like pvp more, or factions.

I don't think FTB would be good for quite a few reasons, one of them being the fact that it will make the server not playable if they have a bad PC, so i hope everyone can take into account when you vote that FTB requires something to download outside of vanilla, which is likely to make it so the server is not as popular as it could be. Saying that, FTB is still much funner than vanilla.

I think Hunger Games would be the most viable option, because back when i used to play the game, it was the most dominant gamemode on the biggest mini game server. But, i think the downside to Hunger games is the fact that lots of the stuff would need to be custom coded or at least edited from the default, otherwise the server would not gain much playerbase because the server would just be the same as all the other servers running mediocre free plugins.

Just my opinion, i don't even play the game anymore.

Tekkit Server is what will bring in people. You can't just copy a gamemode from bukkit or whatever it is and make a server out of it. People from Zarp will probably play some but no one from the Minecraft community will actually play for very long.

Either make your own plugins to make it unique or make a tekkit server. Whatever you do it must be work put on to it so again it doesn't look like anyones server.

Would have been nice to add Factions as I feel that it is the Longest lasting gamemode and if you are rich can be the most fun but if not I would enjoy Feed the Beast
