And i'd love to see how such a big map can impact the gameplay, considering it will be rarer than no mans sky for 2 players to meet. Atleast there will be a lot of space per player, considering after a week or 2, the playerbase will hit rock bottom again. Thank you for noticing that we've edited an existing map. Both the community team and the SSRP lead team are looking forward to see how this map is going to impact the current meta on a bigger scale. It's gonna be much easier for new players to find good spots to base and it's gonna allow more advanced players to build bigger bases in more spots. Cars and Hoverboards are also gonna become a lot more useful. A lot of players wanted a bigger map like Evocity, Rockford, etc. back on the server for a long time and after seeing this map get released a while ago we thought it would be a perfect hit!
I also just want to mention that we've been working on a lot of feature based changes and we had to adapt a lot of existing features like the PD systems, the casino, the nightclub, etc. to work on the new map. We haven't spent all this time since the map got released on adding those few things you've mentioned. We've fixed a lot of problems with the map we've only been made aware of after we've started working on it and we've held a couple of testing sessions both in the cm team and with the lead team to make sure everything works out great.
A little more enthusiasm couldn't hurt, but at the end of the day it's just your opinion.
