In order for this update to work as expected, you will need to download some content. Otherwise, you will: receive a "missing content" message, see pink/black textures and not all features may work as intended.

If you are experiencing any of the aforementioned issues, follow these steps:

Close all instance of Garry's Mod on your computer
Subscribe to the following content pack: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1831603120
Wait for the content pack to finish downloading
Re-launch your game and wait for the new content to extract before connecting to the server
