For now, there is no concrete evidence that Red had any part in it, but it is possible that some could arise. Obviously, nothing will / should happen to Red unless solid evidence can be provided for it, so hopefully, if Red did have a part in this, then some will be provided, and if not, then rip.

As Max said, there are a magnitude of factors that should be taken into account regarding any and all decisions the CM team makes. The community's opinion is important, however there are plenty of other things that need to be taken into account when decisions are made.
