Yes, I did read them. Adding the golden gun isn't a terrible idea. It is a one-shot weapon to the traitors (IF they hit their shot), adding any decent new traitor/detective weapon is always beneficial, depending on the weapon. It gives more things for users to use, as long as people stick to the rules with this golden gun, it is fine.
A one shot weapon that doesn’t require much skill to hit a traitor just gives the traitors no chance to win once they are discovered, when they are already massively outnumbered by the innocents and detectives. Adding an OP detective weapon is far form beneficial to the server and will just make it borderline impossible when the traitors are discovered. Also, what happens when a traitor picks up the weapon? Do they just die when they shoot someone on a different team?

But I think option 1 would be aight, but maybe make it so you can’t shoot it for the first 30 seconds of the round to avoid people just shooting at random to where a traitor is instantly gone or a detective is gone instantly.

I'm good with both things atm, as in the previous post I said id like it to be included in the rdm rule as people will still go "but he didn't know it was me and just shot me"

But the gun has an extreme gamble and I also think it should exclude the RDM rule as the gun is a shootable portable tester with a risk to kill yourself (detective or anyone who picks it up). Therefore it shouldn't be added and excluded from the RDM rule as the portable tester does the same thing and no one cares about that.

It has always been that the golden gun is not RDM. If it is added with unnecessary bureaucracy, then it's better to not add it. Side note, you can make it expensive to buy, therefore a detective has to choose whether to sacrifice the extra credits.

People dont mind the portable tester because it has counterplay and follows the same rules as the server. The portabale tester requires you to find someone, make them stand still, then stand there with no weapons out for a decent length of time and finally win a fight with the person if it says they are a traitor. The golden deagle is having no valid reason to kill someone and no counterplay just a fuck you, you dont get a t round.

You couldn't be more wrong about the golden deagle how is it any less of a fuck you if you wanted to RDM with any other gun it no more promotes RDM than any other gun that shoots, if you could read the suggestion their is a poll and the second option suggest to have the RDM rules the same, it is a axiom of zarp TTT that you cannont kill without sufficient evidence this can be the same with the golden gun, this then takes the power away from the golden gun and gives it to the detective, therefore this gun is op in the hands of a good detective and useless for a bad detective.

Lets be real, we cant just give someone a gun and say go shoot someone and you will be slain for rdm, like that will be so bad for ts if their rounds just end because someone decides to shoot them.

Like yea you can argue the 'gamble' but even so if they were to get the traitor its just not fair in the slightest and its basically just a get out of a rdm free card.

personally I feel like it should be added but with rdm rules included

honestly option 1 is way more logical then option 2 nya, the fact is the gun technically cant RDM since it can only kill someone who is a T or you and since theres more innos than Ts its always a fair weapon nya. if you use it on a random then you either get a kill or the Ts get 1 less target to kill, if you use it on a confirmed T then its a safe 1 shot which balances out the fact Ts have a few 1 shot weapons nya. (harpoon and knife backstab nya) so yeah option 1 is my vote nya.

Edit: i noticed mention of people saying theres no counterplay to the gold Deage nya. theres 1 obvious one, dont get hit nya. theres no rule saying that you can be KOSd for not listening to a det when they say "stand still and let me shoot you or you're KOS" which means if they miss they cant kill you and not everyone is accurate enough to hit with a normal deage never mind a gold deage with only 1 or 2 bullets nya

if the credit cost was 2 or 3, it would be used less which I think is good, option 1 seems right as shooting an innocent will kill yourself, so its a 50/50, you get a traitor, or get punished by dying xd

It would still be used, but people are concerned that it would be too overpowered. To counter that, if it cost two credits, detectives would have to choose between buying the golden Deagle, or say a radar and a health station. But to be honest, if we made the gun cost two credits and only have one bullet, it probably wouldn't be used too much.

The people saying to add it but keep rdm with it are seriously retarded

What idiot would buy a gun that kills you if you hit an innocent with it if its not exempt from RDM? Especially if it only has one shot? Literally no one, there'd be no reason not to use any other gun

Theres inherent risk with using it - you dying if you hit the wrong person. By not making it exempt to rdm you'd be taking away the sole reason anyone would want to use it

i`ve been playing with that D weapon a lot of time and its a bit annoying starting the round and getting shooted by the detective.

Will be good if you guys put a rule like if that terrorist kill a innocent the detective can shoot him with the golden deagle, no matter what reason the terrorist have to kill the inno
