TOPIC: [SSRP] Middleman Services

The system will include administrators very soon, we'll just need to update the thread. Still, this saves time and resources for everyone and is much more efficient.

I'm disappointed, I thought at first that this was a wingman service that would ensure me on getting something other than safe trade.

I've just seen the word of advise thanks to some replies here, i still think that this service is a good idea, but the concept of there not being any more need to refund a player who does not use this service is absurd, there are many players who do not usually explore the forums, meaning that they might not know of these services provided for them, other than the idea that fennster suggested, you could always promote the service ingame, whether it's through npcs or members of staff, players who do not know of this service and got scammed for vip usually want a refund, and if they don't get one, they are more than likely to leave the server.

What happens when a person buying VIP doesn't find this thread, nobody gives him any info about the service, and he wants to get VIP ASAP from a player.

What happens then?
The community misses out on 20$ because nobody gives a shit, or we're "too busy"?

The players come first, and if I was buying VIP on a server I enjoyed and I got scammed, and nobody gave two shits, I'd straight up leave. No reason for me to stay where I'm not appreciated or cared about as a donator.

There are so many things messed up with this whole "no refunds if you don't use this" thing.
And now that it's "official", guess I have no say in it, and it's my opinion. But hey, who cares right? I've only been here for 2 years and I know how this kind of stuff works.


So either you update the VIP Page with BIG BOLD TEXT letting people know about this policy, or you remove the policy all together.

Thank you fennster this is exactly what i have been saying and ended up taking a 10 day TS3 ban for, They clearly above tried to ignore the issue i present and ended up removing my comment 3 times and then tried to re-word the "official Policy" and its the Exact same thing but hey maybe you're comment will have a effect as you are pretty high ranks in the community, Back on topic with what fennster said i 100% agree and i see no reason why EMP and Chute would even agree to this "Policy" of oh you didn't use this server service well you are fucked, i the eyes of a player its completely useless as 100% guarantee most of the staff on the "Trusted List" have scammed in game and / or have a bad rep with trading etc so the players will not want to be with X admin when doing X Exchange and this will have a effect on their RP, For Example X admin Scammed Player Y > Player Y Reports on the forums and ends up wasting his time all because X admin is on a "Trusted List" and this ends up wasting more peoples time " Forums Mods , Admins, And the admin himself who Scammed"

I think it's a good idea but I also thing that if the person who is scammed doesn't know about this post they still get refunded only if they have proof. With this though it will cause less scams but we should still refund for all because some poor soul new player could get scammed without knowing about this post. Not agreeing or disagreeing with anything going on I am in the middle due to this helping but also not helping all new players, especially the ones without knowledge of this post.

It's a nice concept sure, but the implementation is so poorly thought out. Those who are more likely to get scammed are the newer players. Newer players who might not know about this. Even if they take precautions themselves to ensure that they don't get scammed such as recording the transaction, because he didn't participate in a service unknown to him he won't see his hard earned money again.
