There’s two ways that they could fix it in theory. One being just make the items rarer and more expensive so that the items which make zarp unique aren’t accessible to the new, or they could make the items more common, cheaper and more accessible for the starting players. As you seem to know ‘basic economics’ you clearly haven’t analysed the issue in its entirety yet.
Giving everyone a tgun, m202, or mini doesn’t make it more fun for newer players since everyone has one. If I was new and I came into zarp for the first time today, I’d quit it right there
The reason people want to play is because they get to play with these items and can actually compete with them, your logic is that practically no one should have the items, which is massively flawed and just ruins the point of having them in the first place

Just because I don’t want everyone to have one doesn’t mean I want nobody to have one. I want a balance
Yeah, so stop complaining then, the tgun will literally balance out itself from the inevitable amount of rips. 25 mill was extortionate for a tgun and needed to be changed

Again makes no sense, the fact that it happened to begin with without foresight is something to complain about on its own, you obviously don’t know what you’re taking about
Stop going on about basic economics as you don’t seem to understand it yourself. I have literally spoken multiple times with community team members from when I was staff and it is still clearly their motive to make the exclusive zarp content available for new players. There is foresight here and the community team plans for this stuff. Extensive testing goes in to check that the updates won’t ruin the economy and will still provide availability. I cba anymore because your points make 0 sense and your constant reference to some basic economics which you don’t understand is getting really annoying. Just accept that this is planned, if you don’t like it, you’re under no obligation to stay here.
For one thing, just because I don’t like a single update doesn’t mean I don’t want to play
The whole “don’t like it don’t play it” makes zero sense. I’m allowed to have my own opinion on zarp because I care about it. And honestly it makes it even worse that it wasn’t foresight, that means they meant to screw over all of the people who bought it full price.
Bought a earbuds cosmetic for quite a bit on tf2 and the prices crashed :( This can happen in any game with an economy, not just ZARP
More yikes is when you could get a 100% guaranteed unusual

Hi Nerdyganii,
We constantly monitor the economy and have daily reports on how the economy is operating and we can tell you it's in very good shape. We control the input and output of all items and we make decisions on values of new items with a data driven approach and this has worked for us very well. No other Garry's Mod server has been operating a functioning economy without resetting it or constantly modifying it for over 6 years as we have been on ZARP.

Alright, if that’s the case how much is a tgun, mini 2, or nuff is now. At an appointment can’t check
What’s your fucking point? The minigun 2 was 400mill and the tgun was 25mill, clearly too overpriced and inaccessible to any new players, you’re making no sense to me right now
I think you quoted the wrong thing mate

Yes but you have to move on from it, it's normal for things like that to happen. No economy is perfect.

I don't think you were around during 2017 when Mini 2.0s became increasingly popular again, everybody loved that and I do think Mini 2.0 is a great item that should be a lil more common, it's at a reasonable price for what it can do imo.

There has been a massive spike of them recently and now it's slowly coming in and more are actually going out, according to the statistics we have Chute mentioned

We have it all in control and there isn't a problem with it in our eyes

Inflation is here. So I want a higher value due to that. Although I want it to be more common than before the update, I think it’s too common afterwords

Honestly I’m glad there’s no wheel. Every SSRP update had a wheel in it and, even as someone that doesn’t play SSRP a lot, I got bored of them. The coin drop feels fresh and does practically the same thing as the wheel, albeit with less prizes.

Don’t remember that being a thing. If it was I was never one of them

Everyone hated the wheels, they took 2 years to spin and it felt there was little to no interaction. You didn’t get much prices and they cost 2.5x as much as the coin drop

While I do like the wheel, it's freshening to have other things like the slots for example

Now that I think about it. Now hear me out here .
What if we had both. Coin slot costs less and would have worse items, but wheel would cost more gems and have better prizes

No, the coindrop is better. Honestly you should just deal with it at this point

All your arguments are grasping at thin air, none of your points are actually valid and the fact you want the developers to code extra unnecessary stuff simply because you don’t like a fucking coin drop, don’t play it if you don’t like it. The price to spin is so much better now as you get 7.2 drops per hour from afk mining compared to 2.8 spins. The flow of items is controlled and clearly more need to be added so they can be used, because they are used quite scarcely and no new players are able to easily get them. What you’re asking for is unreasonable, if you’re this unhappy with the server and a fucking coin drop then just don’t play as it seems to upset you far too much, if you don’t like it you’re under no obligation to stay
