The only thing that is stopping FP from being like the old ZARP is that there's not players on it. Once people start playing there then that will make ChuteUK start working on it. There is no reason to work on something that makes no profit and that's why ChuteUK isn't updating the server a lot. Once we, the players of ZARP start playing there then ChuteUK can change the HUD/F4 menu to the 1 on ZARP, change the weapons and make the drugs work the same way.

I personally wouldn't want vanilla in the way you guys describe it as it would lack content in generally which is what made zarp so successful. I only started playing Zarp as it was the only server with cases and new items coming out which made it fun, when the first case came out it got me hooked on zarp for years until it obviously declined. When you take it this far back it would only please a few people which are still around today which played years ago and not newer players as they can literally join any other server and have a similar experience as this is all nostalgia.

Agree a big part of this is likely nostalgia so keep that in mind when begging for vanilla servers.

The server isn't even advertised, atleast putting on the Zarp forums as a server if it's going to be called Zarp's vanilla server.

Plus, FP isn't really like Zarp back in 2014-2015.

I guess handcannon ruined zarp first cause no base could hold against it, back in the day milkor/rpg were the best then m202 asap. So bases had an actual value and u could sell insane bases for money that's how I made my money made the best bases that any1 could build and they were just amazing and impactful against milkor + rpg and such. I don't like suits and shit but I wouldn't mind them if the community itself wasn't dead, and I'm not even talking players online. Just when seriously is the last time you saw a serious post about SSRP or a gang thread? You never see that shit anymore because there's really no community anymore, I don't know what Chute can do to get that back or even if he wants that back but idk.

What I remember about old Zarp is getting a milkor or a RPG and literally being a god with it, they were rare from what I remember so you would be scared to use it, also seeing the nuclear printer for the first time was awesome. I remember someone placing it down and straight after I bought V.I.P, there was even pointshop back then. Also a big part of Zarp I miss is gun stores instead of the automatic shops we have now, it removes so much roleplay and just becomes an AFK fest.
