The economy isn't suffering from inflation, there's just a lot of people gaining a lot of money with nothing to spend it on. Inflation would propose that the items would be rising in price as a result of the currency not being valued as much but that isn't the case as items currently remain around the same price margin regardless of people getting richer.
Even in the case of the economy being inflated it wouldn't really have an impact as most of the big issues that arise due to inflation in real cases are not applicable at all to a fictional game currency.
Me and Mfbraz where talking about the idea of a reset option within the game that gives benefits upon activation.
The resets could be stacked to gain benefits, Different rewards for reseting with total cash amounts.
20m to 50m: Character Customisation
50m to 100m: Health and damage boost (All weapons)?
100m to 250m: Not decided
250m to 500m: Not decided
500m to 1b: Not decided
It's a idea that is still in development stages hence the lack or rewards for later amounts. We believe this kind of system would give richer players something to spend cash on and give poor players another goal to achieve.
Again this is still in early stages and will probably change entirely but either myself or Mfbraz will make a suggestion post/poll about it when it is thought through and completed.
EDIT: Upgrades from reset would be stacked with each level. Resetting at 500m would get all upgrades from 25m, 50m, 100m, and 250m with it's own set also/
