Suggestion Title: change the disrespect ethos

How would it benefit the server: it would decrease the amount of disrespect

Potential Issues/Exploits: N/A

Additional notes: Change the ethos to say this:
Disrespect:
staff members must use the mute commands to their advantage. By blocking communications it is no longer possible for that person to disrespect anyone. if after various mute's and warnings the disrespect continues and the person just does not stop disrespecting other players ban said person for 1 day

Instead of this

Disrespect:
There will be no further bans for Disrespect. Instead staff members must use the mute commands to their advantage. By blocking communications it is no longer possible for that person to disrespect anyone.

Staff members are to punish players in the act of disrespective behaviour by temporary mute. In case of multiple occurances for the same player (1+ times) a warning should be given. If player persists after 2+ warns a permanent mute is allowed. It forces the player to access the forum and explain himself.

You want a reason even though I'm not arsed to do it? Sure.

Banning a person for one day of disrespect doesn't stop them disrespecting. I'm going to say an analogy that incorporates school detentions. School detentions are useless, they don't change the student at all really. I've been in a lunch detention simply because I was talking and it in no way changed my perspective of the weak teacher.

Though, this doesn't apply in all cases as you have different characters.

Anyways, you should continue to try to improve relations with the person disrespecting. Have you ever tried talking to the person via Steam or whatever and have a conversation?

I personally don't get offended too easily, so I'm initially hesitant to support this. But the potty-mouthed people that constantly slander players and staff despite warnings and mutes really need to go.

The fact that this is even a thing isn't really good in my opinion.
Back in the days we handled disrespectful players just like rulebreakers and gave them a warning, which has shown positively since everyone talked to eachother with respect. Now, players don't even fear it anymore. A lot of players disrespect one-another, and the thing is, they always get away since the staff has to suggest players to mute them. And if they don't do it too often, they get away with the 3rd time or even the 4th time of disrespect if you think about it. It should also be noted, that it shows a lot about the person who actually disrespected. That means that many people that are disrespecting a lot are trolls, that also break a lot of other rules. But not only that, If we had the "Disrespect = warn" rule back, you could easily see who'd be a good staff-member and who has a short temper.
