TOPIC: [SSRP] Accepting refunds of direct rulebreaks

Suggestion Title:

Start accepting refund requests for direct rulebreaks.

How would it benefit the server:

Less angry players, people would be alot more satisfied and not angry when they loose valuable items due to rulebreaks.

This would of course have some requirements, the requirements would be but not limited to :

* The user who broke the rule must have been taken care of administrive ether in-game or trough a ban request.

* The lost item(s) would need to exceed $5,000,000 in-game money

* Proof must be provided of the lost items and that the user has been taken care of adminestrively

The last requirement would require users to have video evidence of them having the item and loosing it to a rulebreak. The only proof you would need to show that it has been taken care of administrively is having a staff member verifiying it or linking your ban request.

EXAMPLE REFUND REQUEST TEMPLATE :

Potential Issues/Exploits:

Pros :

More satisfied users
Less rage when you loose a valuable item as you can get it back
People would stop revenge rulebreaks because of the anger they had when they got RDMED with a thundergun

Cons :

A bit more forum work for Super Admins +
Super Admins + would need to be somehow oriented on the in-game items prices.

Good idea because many people are losing expensive things and same with me, I lost a Handcannon last time I was on because I got CDMed...

Super admins can't touch/spawn things anymore.Head admins and owners.It actually would be good but don't think will happen.

Pro - people will be happy that they got their shit back.
Con - if this gets accpeted how many people will you think will try to get their shit back their will be hundreds of people and it will be a shitton of work.

Sure why not, i mean it's just dumb how staff team removed it so u can't be refunded due to a rule break.

More than just those cons
People fake it and make loads of cash with Quad boosted GPP
People always lose things due to rulebreaks and we have never refunded for it unless out of our own pocket.
Super Admins + will have loads of more work to do, many refund requests per day and always being bugged.
Photo shop can occur and I doubt the owners want to spend their time through the developer console looking to see if something is true for a Thunder gun.
There is a lot of things wrong with this that you guys fail to realize. If you are really thst uncareful to run around the streets with a hand cannon and get CDMD that's your own fault or be in the open. Be careful with your shit don't expect us to refund everyone because you were in the open with somehing expensive as its pretty rare to see someone come up and randomly shoot you in the back of a building than it is out in the open.

Back when I was SA people always asked for refunds and I used the stuff in my own pocket. It got so annoying I just stopped as every day I'd come on to 5 or 10 people with videos of people being RDMS with a tgun out. I was rich enough to afford it but it was very annoying and tike consuming.

And no, its not rare at all that people loose expensive stuff to straight up rdms, not only will this make people happy but it will also encourage people to report rulebreakers which again will lead to the bad guys getting dealt with.

And stating super admins have loads more work to do is simply bullshit, they are on the forums every single day responding to threads and this would be not any harder than responding to a appeal or similar.

And tell me if one head administrator can run a system similar to this on a 80/80 server by himself aslong as having a part time job and going to college how can we not?

We don't always want players to report each other, we want them to try and talk it out with each other instead of straight up warning or banning them.

Video proof means nothing when it comes to getting a refund I know plenty of people who would get an alt banned just so they could blow up their printers or what ever else so they could finish for the night. The system is fine how it is and I would feel bad if I let you or anyone else waste any more of your time on thinking this would happen. We have already denied this multiple times in the past and its being denied now.
