Server Name: Deathrun

Suggestion Title: Ghost Mode

How would it benefit the server: After dying/joining the server players would be able to type !ghost and enter/exit ghost mode, making them invisible to deaths/alive runners (also given no clip in ghost mode?) but still able to run through the map without disrupting the players who are still alive.

Potential Issues/Exploits:

Additional notes: I think this feature would lower the amount of people who AFK on the server since they now have something to do while dead, and ultimately increase the popularity of the server.

This was suggested before and got denied, also you can fall through some platforms in some maps when you are in ghost mode.

This is a good suggestion but like new dude said you can fall through objects and on egypt you cant even go through the portal to the next level

Which is why I suggested that in ghost mode you're given no-clip, so you're able to just put yourself at any point of the level you want to. Falling through objects sounds like something that could be fixed by Chute, EMP, or any other experienced developer if they wanted to, and even if they can't it's not that big a deal as you could just no clip away from those objects.

What does this even mean? It's not like traps are a secret, anybody can load up a game of deathrun in single player and see what the traps do on any map.

Again that seems like an issue one of our developers could fix, where once you're in ghost mode you're essentially unable to use E (or whatever your interaction key is) on anything in the map. Other servers that have the ghost feature have already figured it out, and I'm sure we can too.

Although I do like the idea, ghost-mode is broekn whether you get it off scriptfodder or develop it on your own.

Because of the way they change Physics on gmod, it breaks every update.

A lot of things could break when GMOD updates, including the game itself. How is that any reason to deny something that could potentially improve the server?

:plussp: i suck at deathrun so when i die atleast i can practice a bit sure its not as hard when you can run true the traps but still hey some practice is better than none
