TOPIC: [Suggestion] Removal of empty servers/ Adding Rust

Server Name: Zarp/FP

Suggestion Title: Removing TTT, FP servers website, FP SSRP server and Minecraft.

Servers to add:

- Rust
- Arma III roleplay
- Reign of kings

-- More to be added

How would it benefit the server: It's called budget. You don't put effort money into a server people won't play.

Potential Issues/Exploits: Maybe 3 or 4 people will miss the servers.

Additional notes: The Rust server was removed fairly quick from the community and i'd like something like that to be given a chance. It will be great for attracting new players as it has around 30k player base 24/7 (record is 59k players split on servers).

Either way the point is that i care only about SSRP. I know it's quite a sensetive subject and people will clearly -Support because of the fact they don't like changes. However i put money from time to time and i'm sure the money doesn't always goes to SSRP rather it goes to the other servers due to it's lack of donations. I don't really like that considering the fact the playerbase is dead.

The Rust servers wasn't given even a chance close to as much as these servers has gotten recently. I believe that Rust has grown alot lateley and will do alot of good for the community that TTT wasn't able to. It will attract players, make the community grow and make things better.

People will say that with recent additions to the TTT server that it has to stay. I gotta say that 1 map will get most bored fairly quickly and the only players really that seems to be playing are players from SSRP. I recognize all of them from there.

To sum it up i don't believe there isn't a sufficient argument to deny the fact this gotta happen unless the lead time has lost their faith in Zarp already. I mean, let's state it. The FP forums area clearly dead as things are being posted less than once every two weeks or so. Same goes for everything else, how long is this gonna keep going until you remove those servers off that list. And also why not make an Arma Roleplaying server too if you're looking for ideas?

There's an FP Reboot update being worked on for the past year or two, I don't believe we need another Rust server unless we'll have somebody that could step up and develop one again. Then again, the last time someone promised to do that he just resigned. TTT has shown a promising bounce back from its inactive state, give it some time before we consider removing it.

You want a Rust server which was removed, people want PERP which was removed from development two times... I want a dinosaur.

Yeah it's sooo hard to make a Rust server compared to making a gmod server...

Rust isn't worth investing time in currently in my opinion. Getting a server where enough people play to make it fun isn't easy as most people stick to the horrible over-modded servers and custom content is very limited. Besides TTT is getting a lot of people recently and I see no reason why we would shut it down.

Why was that denied? Because that's something that takes a shit ton of development. You need to do most from scratch unless you buy it (which will never make a server popular).

A Rust server however doesn't require 10000 mods and addons. Just setup the server and you're good. You can use oxide mod to make serval things but not required if you go for vanilla.

The commands are simple and there isn't simply a reason to deny this. It's a gold mine in a state of everything. The game is uppdated once a week and gives a shit ton of new content by that time. There isn't a reason to deny this. Just because i'm not a head admin doesn't mean i don't know what i'm talking about.

And also i don't really play much modded, it was just an idea. Eitherway the content isn't limited, rather easy to use and very guiding so you know what to get. However if you want to make your own Rust coding you're 100% welcome to.

I was thinking of this idea but then realised there are no zarp servers that are in decline right now because ttt is rising and making a rust server you will need a balance between modded and vanilla when some people want more modded or more vanilla.

why removing ttt?

I know Zarp had a server Murder and it was removed cause there was not enough people but maybe we could put it to try cause this is a game mode that I love well and I think I'm not the only loved the Murder. Otherwise I don't understand why remove the TTT , the server is back there a lot of people going. I don't think removing the TTT is a good idea. And FP isn't dead I agree with Stratiic.

I have to agree with Morgan here on the TTT aspect. I get your reasoning behind you wanting to replace the TTT server, however you should not forget that TTT was in decline from previous year august and went dead 3 months later. It got a revive last week and it still gets populated even in the weekdays. Your suggestion regarding the removal of TTT and replacing it with Rust is too quick to do yet. Give it time and more dedicated players will come eventually. After all, before the decline TTT was booming with players and always got atleast 12+ people a day.

Regarding FP, I don't want to comment on that part as I do not know anything about it. But if I was forced to choose I'd +support that path.
