Server Name:PERP/Serious RP server

Suggestion Title: PERP/Serious RP

How would it benefit the community: Having the ability to play serious roleplay which I see a lot of ZARP members in

Potential Issues/Exploits: Setting up, maintaining, costs.

Additional notes: There used to be a perp server as far as I know, why not reboot it? I can help with it, maintain it and will be glad to do so!
Sometimes I join serious RP/perp servers and I see a lot of ZARP people on there as well, I for myself love this gamemode since it's about roleplay, something I miss on the current SSRP servers.

I would love to see this but i don't think it will happen as didn't they stop perp because they needed a developer

I agree with Luke, this would be great, but i don't really think there is any developers who will code this for us, baring in mind that i'm pretty sure EMP has his hands tied with fixing the lag issues right now.

It's been tried multiple times, and has really never been launched off the ground.

why don't you try?

If you want a PERP server, you better find someone that wants to take the time to code it.

Most people round these parts don't want an Rp gamemode where they have to think.

I think a good game mode for zarp would be prop kill (that is an actual game mode, I have seen it streamed on twitch before) so all the prop killers on the server can just be directed to our prop killing server by an admin when brought to an admin area for the prop killing on ssrp xd but seriously can we get someone to develop a perp server

Maybe an idea to really look into the addons and the community choice, like ask what the community wants and I'm convinced this will set off good then!

Luckily there are also a lot of addons which you can find out there already, which only might need some minor edits

The PERP server has been up before, two times in fact but never worked out because we were unable to find someone who was willing to do a ton of coding and keep at it, from the information I have the developers gave up every time (Don't hold me to my word I could be wrong but that is what I heard) If Zarp was able to find someone who could code it and develop it then it would have no problem getting up off the ground but until then, I don't see this happening!

everyone want a no-lag RP server but the developpers try to remouve the lag.

And yes it had to do with illuminatix himself as well. That's why there must be someone who's willing to code it. And yes I am, pretty sure some others are as well. Community chosen addons is a must I feel.

If you need some help with Perp (If it really does happen), I'd be glad to help develop.

It would take a lot of work to get the perp gamemode into a suitable state to be released. We don't want to just bring up another perp clone that is no different from any of the other perp servers. The gamemode would need massive customization for new features/redoing the old ones, before we would be willing to launch a server with it and Im not just talking about adding a few addons from the workshop and calling it custom.
