Suggestion Title:
Deathrun ghost suggestion

How would it benefit the server:
It would potentionaly increase player amount on deathrun and it would be more fun and you can practice bhopping instead of watching people. And also staff members can spectate the runners better.

Potential Issues/Exploits: Falling thru maps at breakable obstacles just like TTT

Additional notes:
Ghost mode suggestion.
Basicly: When you died in deathrun you are now able to type in example: !Ghost to join ghost mode and practice to finish the map better! In example when you finished running the map (in ghost mode) U tp straight to the start and start over again
This is not forcing you to go in ghost mode, you just need to type !ghost

I feel like we need something "new" on deathrun, and this is a really great idea. I think we should add this, it will probably bring more players to the server. I've also seen multiple people trying to do this on the server, because they thought we already had it.

We already had something like this where you could type !redie in chat and Spawn in as a ghost.
This was removed though due to the deaths getting confused and activating traps o3n the ghosts.
The ghosts were also able to set off some of the traps like barrels.
Furthermore the ghosts were not able to pass through portals, so a map like the minecraft map were impossible to finish.
So this is definetly a -Support from my side unless a fixed version of this presents itself.

I agree with random, but what if you were cloaked and you're basically nocolliding your player to the props, so they can't knock them over, break a barrier, etc.

It sounds way to buggy in it's current state, it could use some work. The ghost deathmatch we have on TTT works fine, but you nocolide with doors and things like this. On Deathrun if you're dead, I'd say it's better as a player or staff to watch the current players on the map incase they decide to break the rules and you don't notice it since you're in your own little world per say.

Both ghost-modes from scriptfodder don't work. I wasted so much money on them. They break every garrys mod update, and both developers have given up.

At first this seems like a great idea, but thinking more about people being able to do this the problems keep adding up.
Problem 1: Ghosting Rule

Players would be able to go through 'choice traps' such as portals and bridges and tell the alive runners a lot easier than they already can. Yes I am aware that this already happens, but if you are allowed to save a position you could save it right in front of the portals and just keep going back if needed.

Problem 2: Distraction

Staff members can miss rule breakers due to being distracted and able to bhop the maps.

Problem 3: Broken

Looks like it's not an option anymore especially with the amount of updates Gmod has been having lately, and the last updates for the program itself were last updated 5 months ago. Not to mention that the first one has been cancelled by the developer:
