I've been friends with EMP/Chute for about four years now, I don't think they'd lie to me and I've never known them to turn away from a challenge, especially when it comes to developing in GMOD. So I'd like to think that the reboot exists and will be released, but I can't imagine that happening anytime soon.

In FP's prime, yeah. DarkRP/SSRP wise I think FP had a better server as well. Basing/raiding was relatively balanced and was pretty fun as a result of that, the economy was stable and gave new players the chance to rise to the top (didn't someone hit 100 billion or something in Zarp SSRP? lmao), and the job EXP system kept you playing consistently and rewarded dedication to the server.

This is a pretty good question, I haven't thought about it until now and it kinda caught me off guard. From Friendly Players it's probably my pal EMP. Starting from our Jailbreak server he worked hard and eventually made it to where he is today, an owner and developer of two of the most popular and well known Garry's Mod communities. From Zarp I gotta give it to good old DCX, I'm pretty sure he's in prison right now but he was a cool dude.

Why was FP called "Serious RP" when the first thing I saw was someone jump around with a master sword while dressed as death and then he turned into a roller mine.

Couldn't really tell 'ya. I never agreed with that title either, DarkRP as a whole isn't geared towards serious roleplay. I remember being in a meeting where we changed it to Semi-Serious RP, and now it's just Friendly Player's DarkRP.
