I may be inactive on TTT for a while as my laptop is making many strange clicking noises on bootup. When I boot it up it says automatic repair then goes to a black screen for a while before saying no bootable devices found. I will be inactive for however long it takes to get fixed whether it be soon or not so soon. Does anyone have a fix for this problem you'd be helping out a lot.
Thanks for letting us know. What you are describing just tells me that the sata connection between motherboard and hdd is gone. This should be easy to fix in a pc store, if you wanne test out yourself see if the laptop boots up with a bootable usb drive.
Good luck getting it fixed!
This does seem like a SATA connection issue, easy enough to fix. Either that or you need a new SATA cable/hard drive. Hard drive will be a bit of a fuss but you should be able to recover your files. Best of luck with that.
Little update. There is what seems to be a very faint footprint on the keyboard. So an estimated guess would lead me to believe some dicks stepped on it and hopefully they only disconnected the hardrive rather than breaking it entirely.
