TOPIC: I'm back!

So as you might be aware of, I have been rather inactive lately. This mostly has to do with me being at my family for the duration of the last two weeks, and thus not having any accesibility to my PC. However there's also another reason behind my prolonged inactivity. I will not go into any details, but the basic idea is the fact that I have been accumulating an increasingly amount of stress over the course of November and December. I had been getting snappier and snappier at people on the forums and generally behaved like a dick even when it wasn't needed. I have already apologised for this behaviour last week and will not do so again, but I still wanted to bring it up to explain why exactly I decided to take a break for the last two-three weeks.

Because of my stress I had been struggling to complete my tasks for school whilst failing to do my job properly here. Not just that, I'd been struggling to keep up with my own real life relationships whilst not properly taking care of my own health as well.

In short: my life had been getting shit and I didn't do anything to try and resolve that.

I decided to use the winter holidays to my advantage. I was away from a PC for a longer period and could instead focus on my family, school and my own mental health. I'd been keeping up with my forum duties as well as talking to anyone that had a question over Steam, but came to meetings less whilst also generally not joining the TS.

And I have to say that this prolonged break has really revitalised me. I'm more energetic and generally feeling happier with myself and am glad to have taken the time (properly taken the time for once) to sort out myself instead of sorting out others.

I'm happy to announce that today is the day I am returning home from my break and will thus be able to continue my work and efforts within the community. I will, however, be more careful with how I spend my time from now to avoid this from happening again.

I might also not be overly active today and tommorow because I'll be spending a lot of my time working on a school project that I have to hand in tommorow evening.

Before properly finishing this post I'd also like to thank some people for being there to talk to me when I was feeling a little less than good. Although not all of these have been equally helpful, the fact alone that they responded or even showed an interest in my general well being is good enough for me.

So... yeah! I'll be back starting today and will properly and actively return to all the servers I'm staff on over the course of the coming two weeks. Can't wait to see you all again! ^.^
