it starts to be a bit of an overkill once the playerslots go over 25. most TTT communities that i've been a part of have had 23 player servers and it's been quite perfect, staff have work to do but arent overwhelmed with it, the voice chat isnt too awful and the rounds dont take too long. once it goes over 25 all of those things go to absolute shit.
but on topic with DM, i was a co-owner on a TTT server a year ago and we decided to add DM for this exact reason, and it ended up with people killing themselves just to play DM, and it created a bunch of server lag.
