TOPIC: [SSRP Staff suggestion]

Suggestion Title: Make it easier for staff to work

How would it benefit the server: This would benefit the server in tons of ways due to staff on duty not doing any RP related stuff. And also make their work faster and easier

Potential Issues/Exploits:I really cannot see any

Additional notes: Alright so the suggestion is that when you are staff on duty you cannot enter events or accept/deny votes only cancel them. I am sure tons of the staff members including myself has voted yes for votes when they are on duty, which they should not be able to to since they are not roleplaying. Not only that i have seens tons and tons of staff members on duty in events because it pops up as they are pressing F1 and its really annoying and specially if you suddenly get tped in the middle of a sit. This leaves the user confused and it leaves the staff member looking very unprofessional. SO PLEASE remove all event votes for people that are on duty and make it so they cannot vote yes/no but only cancel them! And dont make it so it cancels it on F1 make it so they have to press it with their mouse. This will also make it so much easier for staff to actually cancel false demotions or whatever the case might be. Since the way it is now it takes the staff member way to long to do it.


EDIT: Thanks to Jenga for reminding me. Please also make sure that the staff on duty cannot enter lotteries!

I see no reason why this shouldn't be implemented, staff on duty have no reason to be able to vote for jobs, join lotteries or participate in events; and in most cases its a hassle as well.
I remember as a mod I joined countless events and participated in an infinite amount of lotteries simply by trying to access the F1 menu.

Entered an event,
Voted 6 people for swat,
Crafted 60 steel,
Banned a player,
Deleted your inv,
Demoted a player that you just voted for,
Agreed to anail,
Agreed to teach luan how to code,
Disconnected, and rejoined,
Logged in to forums,
Checked facebook,
Broke gas pumps,
Voted for yet another swat,
Banned para,
Turned TylerAim2.0 on,
Said hello to sally, and got a blank response,
and then finally, demoted ChuteUK.

I'd like to point something out; events are not within Role-play, so I do not see a reason for non-roleplay jobs not being able to participate in them.
