[Suggestion title]:
Karma ban raising

{How it would benefit the server]: Right now the minimum amount of karma needed to say in the game is 400, if it gets any lower you either get kicked or banned, I think that upgrading this to 5 or 6 hundred which will help to remove people from the game when no staff are on and also improve the amount of normal, clean players on the server

[Potential exploits]: Maybe the system will bug and it may not always work but I don't know????

Imo someone should be kicked when reaching 5 hundred karma and banned after reaching 4 hundred karma. Also the ban should not be long. Like 1 hour or something, so when they rejoin, a staff member will be on. Some people lose karma because of self defence. For example: Player X (Detective) shoots Player Y (innocent) for no reason. Player Y manages to kill Player X (self defence) but loses a lot of Karma. Player Y was really unlucky and this happened to him the next 3 rounds so eventually he got banned for doing nothing wrong...

Will staff be invulnerable to this? I myself have been at 500-600 karma a lot fo times, due to me killing RDMers. I don't really think a ban or kick would be appropriate for a staff member that just get's unlucky like I do a lot of the time.

But you raise it, other players could also get as unlucky as I do a lot of the time, so if it got raised, we'd have to look out for everyone 3x as much.

If you see somebody rdming then you can always just slay them

The karma system is unreliable and that is why we lowered it to such a small number so only people who are mass RDMing get banned by it. We accept staff for a reason and we don't want to automate their job.

Of course I do, I slay them next round, this is me doing stuff like DNA'ing bodies and killing Innos because of it, people pushing other people, and me killing them for it(it's a kosable act now) and other shit, it just adds up when the server is busy as I do a damn good job of killing T's as Inno.

Well then they have already been punished for the RDM, no need for them to be banned or whatever because of low karma.

I'm on a level with Max on this one. The karma system really isn't too good at distinguishing decent players from those who purposely RDM. As CeeZee said, he's had sub-par karma once as a result of players RDMing and it just causes problems for everybody else.

The lowest karma I've ever had was around 990, and even then its back up to 1000+ after a single round. We have a plethora of staff in the team now and I doubt there's many times where there is a player who has 500 or so karma when no staff are present.

400, at least in my eyes is an OK value to karma-ban people. If CeeZee's figures are accurate then this could potentially be a problem for unlucky folk who subsequently receive low karma for killing people who RDM. It's low enough to eliminate this event occurring as much as possible, while at the same time still enforcing an autonomous system to eliminate rulebreakers.

Killing an innocent lowers your karma by 100 or 150, damaging an innocent lowers your karma = to the damage done, killing a detective is 150(These figures are rough) so by the numbers if you're killing 6 innocent with no clean rounds you'll be karma banned. Only way to increase karma is to finish a round with no damage to innocent and or detectives as killing a traitor does not affect karma. So raising the number would induce bans to those players who are not rdming but simply playing by the rules and getting unlucky(DNA, RDM...)
