TOPIC: [TTT Suggestion] Staff Only Voice Channel

Suggestion Title: Staff Voice Chat

How would it benefit the server: Make staff more efficient at their job.

Potential Issues/Exploits: None

Additional notes: It would have to be cross lives, as in, if you are dead, you could speak to the alive staff, just like the text way with the @ symbol. I really feel this is needed as I often run out of space when typing something in the staff only chat, or get killed when typing in the staff only chat about an RDMer or whatever.

You could use Teamspeak.

I don't feel how this is needed. Just use TeamSpeak or the admin chat, simple as that.

I don't feel this would improve the staff teams ability to manage the server as if the matter is urgent you would surely deal with it at the time, or if it isn't just wait until the end of the round to deal with it anyways and as others have pointed out there are other options available to get your voice across. I believe the developers time could be better spent elsewhere.

I don't really see a dire need to have this added. I'm satisfied with the simple text-based admin chat, if I'm needing to contact someone individually or get their attention quicker I'll often give them a shout via Steam or Teamspeak.

The only solution to that is to type faster. My advice on the latter is to not care about it. The amount of times I got killed when dealing with something in admin chat or report manager is unthinkable. But I let it slide unless it was a RDM situation. Don't mix administrating with gameplay.

Don't tell me the report manager has changed as well now?I don't see the point of adding something temporary (If looks like it right now) then if the new report system could fix this miscommunication. You just need to communicate better then, not saying you aren't.

It could be added right now to be temp, but it could stay if provided useful, there is a lot of quiet staff members who would enjoy this, they just enjoy doing their job and stuff. I don't really see a long term or short term downside to it.

This is actually a suggestion I know will have a big impact on TTT if added I think will also help new staff members with their job, as somebody pointed out you can use admin chat with @ but not all players are fast at typing and I think actually speaking would be more efficient than typing as people like me, find it easier to explain things verbally instead of writing it down
