Spectator mode
How would it benefit the server:
If some one needs to go afk for a round you can easily go to spectator round without disconnectiong or ruining the fun for the others by having a free round when you become a Death out of no where and you just stand there.
It will allow you to boost your self in gametrackers instead of actually kicking people out of the server you can put them inspectator mode there for you still fill aslot looks a lot more appealing to people looking for new servers.
Potential Issues/Exploits:
Time farmers? dont really see a issue with this anyways since the server is not very popular at the moment.
Additional notes:
This should have been added a year ago IMO

So the reason this was denied was for deathavoid,
i have spoken with some of the developers and its really easy to fix that by making it so you cant go to spectator mode while you are playing death.

Then you can also make it so when you are in spectator mode they do not affect RTV and cant vote for a map.

Also for those who are concerned of time farming. In order for your game tracker to effectively record you need to gain score and points.
we got very active staff members and if you afk farm all day long it will be noticed anyways so this shouldn't be a issue.

Spectator allows you to also gain game tracker rank. the servers are not popular right now so you wanna keep the players as much as you can to gain more gametracker ranks to get more recognition!.

If some one has to go afk for food they can go to spectate instead of leaving the server losing another game trakcer slot.

I'm not saying yes and not saying no but, the thing is that you can always time farm. For example: I'm going afk in spectator mode. After a couple of hours i'm back and kill a couple of deaths. we have enough active staff members so if that happends we will notice that you alway ssit in spectate mode.

no issues here.
I am suggesting this in the hope to get a higher game tracker rank so we get more players on.

There is no issue with this suggestion. Another positive is that some new player like to watch and learn a spectator mode enables them to do so. It s also really simple to stop people death avoiding / time farming. I don't really see the point, you could just change to when your a death to avoid being a death and when your afk as a runner you'll get killed by the auto slay so it's not like the player being afk is causing a problem

We have the same leaderboards on TTT and we made it so it does not record time if your in spectator mode.

Does it stop recording the time for game tracker though? Don't really matter if people farm leader board time

Have you ever even played deathrun? The staff team don't expect you to leave if you go afk for like 2 minutes the problem is when people consistantly go afk to boost their game time so they have enough activity to apply for staff, going afk to make a drink litterally affects nothing you could even play the round die go make it then come backbefore the next round starts, if you go afk for 1 round it really isn't a big deal

I bolded your statement. in my suggestion i clearly stated you can avoid having that happening by coding so deaths cant go to spectator.

I have tought about it and let me tell you my feedback, you have pointed out so many good things there and if the developers can solve it would make it really good on the server. AFKing has always been a problem and I hope this will solve it, maybe we could make it that it won't count our time on the gametracker if it is possible when we are in the mode.
