Tickrate is at 66 at the moment so really no difference

Their is currently a server in development.
a Higher tickrate would help and i don't see a problem with hiring it unless it disrupts the server in anyway.

Still too many cases where my fps and ping are fine but I still have to spam 2 mags of a psg and one l85 into a person to kill them... :

Lol No, Its quite simple to understand actually.
Example: 30 Tickrate = Hitboxes updates 30 times Per second.
128 Tickrate = Hitboxes update every 128 Times per second.
Basically The Higher the tickrate, The more accurate the hitboxes are, However its not gonna completely Fix the issue, But it will Improve it alot Thats for sure.

This might be old or whatever.
But I have a lot of experience with servers based on their tickrate. Look at CS:S for an example, tickrate is important for a server when we used to host PCW for our clans, and it is still really important for CSGO servers. 60 TICKRATE was customary for CS:S, below was all the cheap 1$ hosts, idek. Tickrate above 100 was the best, and always prioritized, and I believe that it too has a big impact on the game. Why run 33 FPS when you can run 60 FPS? Agreed, I think so.

Just bumping this, because it deserves to be considered throughout many points and might be good to discuss further.

Thank you for agreeing with me, I have immense experience with this, and even when people looked for servers back in the day, they might as well not do it much, but we always looked after servers with higher tickrate. I myself, never made a DarkRP og TTT/Stranded server with less than 60 tickrate. It's abnormal to think 70+ people can run smoothly on a 33tickrate, not to mention Zarp was 16tickrate once if I remember correctly 2 years back.

Here is a example.
20 Tickrate = Hitbox updates 20 times every second.
128 Tickrate = Hitbox Updated 128 Times every second.
So basically Higher tickrate means The hitboxes are gonna be more smooth and More consistent. However like Tyler said on my Previous suggestion, High tickrate might cause Instability With 90 Players on a old Engine. But its still worth a try. Also I dont think 60 Tickrate is that high.
Also From what I know it wont effect Server Preformance, Just the server usage.
