[SSRP[ Remove someones NLR suggestion 7 years 7 months ago #396922

Server Name: ZARP 1,2 & 3

Suggestion Title: Remove someones NLR

How would it benefit the server: This could potentially decrease the amount of nlr breaks because over the past few weeks i have had to talk to several amount of people about breaking NLR and they say they get rdmed etc so by having a feature to remove it could be a good thing for the server.

Potential Issues/Exploits: Can get alot of people complaining they got rdmed etc to avoid the NLR

Additional notes: Obviously staff would need proof of logs, video or screen shot proof before doing is.

This suggestion is good however It's just more work for the staff team or even Admins, If it was added it should be a Lead Team command as staff could easily abuse it and remove there own NLR to raid people.

That's true but you should trust your staff members shouldn't you? ;) Would be good as an admin command though. Also, you would get a lot of people asking for their NLR to be removed claiming it's RDM/CDM and might cause some trouble.

Staff could easily abuse alot of commands tho. We know what happens if we do anyway. #demoted. I get what you mean tho, Jordan.

Not too sure on this one but if true then another staff member sees the nlr they will take them to a roof and he'll have to explain how he was rdmed etc

We put a lot of trust in our staff . if a staff witnessed or knows 100% that some one got rdmed then that staff member can tell the user that he is allowed to go back to that district with the PERMISSION from said staff member.

The problem is that People can always just say they Got RDMed. I think for that very reason This Suggestion is Denied.

I agree with Coutinroy on this one, One place this could be implemented is in the F1 menu where "Active NLR" is displayed, Or just a plain simple command.

I also agree with how it can be beneficial and help reduce Players being told they can ignore the NLR, due to RDM, and then a different staff memeber telling them to leave.

This would also be useful for the S3 issue in spawn of the Suicide, Players don't even need to be in spawn for long for it to kill them, they can join and instantly dye giving them NLR.

There are pros and cons, and the biggest con is "Abuse", however as Aaron said, almost everything that staff have access to can be abused, and staff abusing there powers usually results in punishment/demote.

No, I'm not saying I don't trust our staff team as they can abuse any commands just think about it, However This command could be abused like really easy and then Staff can just take NLR of players/staff team to continue to raid/defend etc, You see where I'm coming from?

No, if you get RDM'ed you should not break a rule yourself in this case New Life Rule.
it should stay the way it is, if people get RDM'ed they make an F1 and not rulebreak themselves by breaking NLR/Revenge RDM etc.
