TOPIC: Add Damage in logs

pls do that so its easier to get proof to staff

It's really unneeded and the system is fine how it is, if you're referring to SSRP. You should probably use the template too, I'm on a phone right now so hopefully someone will paste it here or you can find it yourself in the suggestion/issue section.

Zarp would benefit alot from damage logs. I play on a server which is fully custom with may more stuff than zarp. And they have logs for near enough everything and no difference to lag as far as i know off. Supposliy this would be different with zarp but idk.

No matter how many times this is suggested it will always be denied l. Search up the word damage logs and you will see by the responses from experienced members thst this won't work and isn't needed.
Not even gonna bother typing why it doesn't work with ZARP it's been suggested too many times for me to even attempt to tell people ,_,

The logs themselves are full enoug as it is, spamming it with damage to wont help anyone.
Besides this has been suggested about a million times and it will be denied every time.
Nothing more to say.

I don't see how damage logs will benefit. Mabye there is some positives, but also some negatives as spam in the logs. im very sry but i will vote

It would be to much for the server and can get spammed to easily.

Well it would be nicer if you saw wich district the following player dies in it would show good proof of NLR and if they add when your inside some buildings or not I dont know just work with that more than the damage logs

well as far as i am aware damage logs is something that was once on Zarp but removed for a good reason i am sure.. The thing is even if the server had damage logs it is not gonna change anything.. cause the user is still gonna need proof the staff will never know if its valid for the person to shoot at him or not so evidence is gonna be needed either way... I dont think its gonna change anything if its being brought back.. The only difference i can see with damage logs comming back is more lag.

Might as well lock this. Damage logs will NOT be added unless the server gets 10 players on a day. End of. Lock it

Lets attempt to do some averages even though I'm awful on maths, on average we say Zarp SSRP 1 gets an updraft of 60 - 80 players a day and during summer this also increases; this means the server has to go out its way to load every log of damage on this 70 odd players which records as "Player Y shot Player X for B amount of damage with a Sniper" which then means for every player it displays their health loss in chunks such "Player Y lost 35 from a Sniper" and so on, with that amount of logs constantly being updated it would slow down the server for everyone possibly crashing it in some cases then on top of that; upon staff members accessing the command it means the server has to pull and display information as well as record it while its happening. Basically its really not worth slowing the server down for damage logs. I apologize if I am wrong somewhere correct me if so.
